Yeah. It isn't too much of a pain to do it at all.

Quality over Quantity. We have NWP, MN1, and MM. What more could you ask for? 0.o

Well, Treeki told me that he'd think about SMG hacking after Newer is released, which might happen in a month or 2

They're busy with Newer.

Back on topic.

Importing objects from SMG1 won't be easy at all. Code is not like Lego blocks, you can't take parts of SMG1's code and plug it into SMG2 and expect it to work.

That'll require extensive studying of both games' APIs, to be able to fix all the function calls and all.

Yes. You need to do a bit of research on how it connects and loads into the game.

That's why I have a table on the Objects Wiki page that has the addresses of object functions in both SMG1 and SMG2. Anyone who finds out anything can feel free to add to the table.

Another question.
Can ActorInfo be imported with an Object?

How so? ActorInfo is VERY iffy. It depends on what it is

Exactly :P
Like, for settings of the object and such in that file. Would it have to be edited manually to port it, or what.

Well the majority of stuff is nintendo porting code so it shouldn't need to have settings edited.
