Sorry to this freeze on new game on r4 but i will fix this, don,t worry: I do not know why but using r4 freezes on new game to fix this problem just go to VS MODE play in any mode Stage vs when you enter the stage you press start choose exit vs and start a new Game that works. This was the only way I have managed so far but do not worry that this hack will work both in the emulator and the original ds

There's one thing I noticed in the screenshots that could make the hack better:
Vertex Shading/Vertex Colouring.
Right now, everything is bright, even where there are supposed to be shadows.
Vertex Shading could make the in-game world feel more alive, It can make a big difference.

I have tried to put shadows but sometimes it occupies many polygons but in the future I will see what I do in relation to this but you can be sure that when I finish this hack will be as beautiful as good

You should change the device capacity.
Open the ROM in a hex editor and change the byte at offset 0x14 from 0x07 to 0x08. I don't know if this will fix the R4 issue, but it does stop DeSmuME from complaining.

Mind... Blown... It seems to be quite a busy time for Nintendo Modding! With games like this game, Star Road/World DS, Mario Sunshine DS, Mario 128, Newer DS, TLoZ 3rd quest, the 3D land stuff, and the Citra and Cemu emulators! This game looks great, and I can't wait to play!

Mario Sunshine DS is (most likely) dead tho.
EDIT: None of the methods mentionned here seem to work with nds-bootstrap. Can anyone check whether or not they work with flashcards before I report it in it's thread?

You don't need to add separate polygons to provide shadows (I assume you're doing this using textures). What Platinatic is talking about is that you can set the colour of individual vertices so you could for example set the colour of a corner to dark grey, you would keep any textures but it'll appear darker than the surrounding vertices and gives the appearance of being in the shade. It will slightly increase the size of the model due to adding COLOR (Cmd 20h) commands to your model but it's unlikely to cause issues.

If you're using Blender you can largerly automate this process by using the "dirty vertex colours" feature, just make sure you make a backup of your model first as the effect can't easily be reversed.

Will there be clones involved? Or multiplayer? Because it kinda looked like it.

This hack looks really nice. I'll try it later.

• Nadia: makes her BQFX file an AJ7
• SuperHackio: questions what that is
<~StapleButter> the AJ7 is an automatic rifle model based on the well-known AK47

This looks amazing but... are you allowed to link to a prepatched ROM?

I don't think it's allowed. Someone should probably take it down.

No, it's to avoid any legal issues for the board. I have removed the link from the first post.
