Well not really. I added an entry to ScenarioBgmInfo of a random galaxy called GemAsteroidGalaxy and it crashed...

...and according to NWPlayer123, that means you're doing it wrong. There IS that hash in whatever that corresponds to the Galaxy's name...

...could the method for guessing that be flawed/wrong/broken?

Looking at everything I see, it doesn't seem like it should crash meaning you're missing something else. I'll look into it more sometime.

StringSpider.arc has an unused BRK file which isn't assigned to anything. It's called StringSpiderTest.brk.

HammerHeadPackun has an unused obj_arg0 setting which makes it drop nothing when killed.

It only works in SMG2 to hurt a Spiky Piranha Plant with a Rainbow Star.

Mostly because Spiky Piranha Plants only exist in SMG2, unless you're talking about Prickly Piranha Plants (the purple ones).

Obj_arg6 sets the colors for Toads and Lumas inside the crystal cage, but it's only used for Toads.

Actually that's most likely the space part of the final battle. Very rarely is unused stuff in the DOL like that.

These are the file names. The type itself would be called "ChangeObj".

The World Map files have inconsistent organization.
In WorldMap01, three files are on the root instead of the ActorInfo.
In WorldMap02, Two files are on the root.
In WorldMap03, ALL the files are in ActorInfo.

Some of the World Maps have SpaceParts.bcsv and others don't.
Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

Bomb is a semi-unused object in SMG1 and SMG2. It just is a deactivated Bob-omb and not the bomb thrown by Bugaboom and Cluckbooms!
