What's new in Firefox 48:
You liked the address bar suggestion list? It comprised entries that were like: Page title http://page.url/ It was esaily readable. And it looked somewhat native. You know, like Windows controls. It wasn't cool enough for Mozilla however. They copypasted Chrome's address bar suggestion list, down to the Chromey font. To make it look different, they swapped the URL and title, though. So in the end, it is: Page title — http://page.url/ Reading the suggested URLs is harder because they're all over the place instead of being aligned. But who cares, it looks like Chrome so it's cool! Oh and it also looks like a smartphone UI! You know, pretending your screen is tiny! It's the new trend in UI development. Oh also, they axed the possibility to set the New tab page. Why? Actually, you should throw your computer out the window. Crapware can abuse it in any damn way. What's the best way to deal with a problem? Remove everything! ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

I just compared it on Windows (Firefox 47), and Linux (Firefox 48), and indeed, it has become a huge mess...
Another thing in the Address Bar I've noticed, is that the suggested list now takes up full width, instead of just the width of the Address Bar itself. |

Posted by Yami for a what, 300 pixel gain at best. gee, that's huge, esp. on a desktop monitor. oh right, those don't exist, everything is a smartphone. sorry. Posted by cros107 Opera is lost already considering they switched to Webkit. I also don't like how Opera or Chrome handle many tabs: compress them to 3px each until they all fit. bfdkhgdokgjsf if Firefox ever adopts that, I'm blowing up their headquarters. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

I've been using Chrome for everything for years now, I've been wanting to switch to something more efficient, but I just can't seem to find the time to do so... ____________________ MKDS Hacking & Modding Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/CAktUYP |

If you're using Chrome, you're using Firefox. Vice-versa.

in a nutshell. I wouldn't have said it better.
as for spying (collecting performance data or whatever they call it), Firefox does too, everyone does. It's part of the modern trends, as well as constantly begging people for reviews, and other shit. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Speaking of begging people for reviews, I find it very annoying how Microsoft decided to add it to most Windows programs.
One second I'm using the Calculator, (you know one of the most basic programs on the OS), then before I know it, this annoying pop-up shows up, and asks me for a review, and it fucks me over while trying to close it... To say the least, it makes me want to give them anything but a good review... ____________________ MKDS Hacking & Modding Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/CAktUYP |

they don't get it. no feedback means satisfaction.
or it means that the user just gave up, and they weren't truly interested. either way, I had no idea Windows 10 fell that low. one more reason against it, I guess. I would leave a one-star review saying: "software functional but LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE". ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

I'm currently using Chromium on Linux, which is Google Chrome, but without all of the Google crap. |

#OperaMasterRace
(Posts from Chrome) I hate Mozilla anyway. Lefty weirdos. Just let your employees, or, founders, do what the heck they want. Not just what's trendy in 2016, lol. Well, now all we have left today are WebKit, Gecko, and EdgeHTML... Any winners? |

Winners...under what circumstances?
If for what's most widely used, then WebKit will be the winner, not only because so many major Browsers use it, but also because Chrome itself is the most widely used Browser now. For reference: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/ba/Browser_Market_Map_June_2015.svg/2000px-Browser_Market_Map_June_2015.svg.png Legend (because Wikipedia is to cool to include a Legend inside a PNG File): Dark green = Google Chrome. Orange = Firefox. Dark grey = Safari. Bright yellow = UC Browser. Gold = Iron. Deep blue = Internet Explorer. Red = Opera. Purple = Android Browser. Light grey = No info. Also note, this is as of June 2015, so things may have been changed now. |

does 'Internet Explorer' include Edge? seems odd that Japan would use IE massively...
anyway, who knows if that's accurate, between shit like useragent spoofing and ridiculous useragents pretending to be every browser and platform... ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

As I said, it's data taken in June 2015, so it was before Edge came out to the public. |

Posted by StapleButter Maybe it has to do with the writing system, as South Korea has a similar writing system and also uses IE a lot. Then again, maybe not. IE is also the most used in Liechtenstein and Isle Of Man. |

I don't know where your South Korea is, but the Korean writing system is totally different from the 3 Japanese writing systems (or rather, 2 Japanese + 1 Chinese).
Besides that, how do writing systems relate to the choice of Browsers? |
