To understand it, simply read the rest of my post.
To the staff at MarioBoards, 'veterans' are more important than 'newcomers'...

I did, and I still didn't experience any of that when I was active there. >_>

A nobody.

At MarioBoards, one doesn't become a staff members because they do their job well, one becomes a staff because so-called 'veterans' like them.
As a result, this is the only site I've ever visited, where I've got Banned at least once (trice by now).

Like, as long as those 'veterans' don't like you, you must watch your mouth carefully, or they all shout "You're a fucking racist" at you, and hours later, you'll find yourself temporarily Banned.
Meanwhile, those 'veterans' are free to insult others however they want, without any consequences.

I've been there for 6 years now. It's not bad. Though it's definitely pro-LGBT and they'll get all over you if you don't want gay marriage legal or you don't like transgendered people, considering that a big chunk of the forum is LGBT.

And they're definitely on the politically correct side, which is why they called your jokes racist.

Yami's jokes for context. More context: the thread was in Mindless Junk (can't view it in public) and it was being derailed. I think someone was posting verses from a Sonic song, and Yami chipped in and posted this.

Well, 2 Mexicans are walking through the desert, and a third Mexican appeared.
So one of the 2 asks, "How much is 1 + 1?".
The third Mexican says, "Well...2...".
The Mexican who asked takes out his gun, and shoots the third Mexican completely dead.
The second Mexican asked, "Why did you do that?".
The first one said, "He knew to much.".

A blonde goes to the hairstyler with earphones in her ears, and wants to have her hear cut short.
So after the stylist was done, she said, "I want to have it a bit shorter.".
So the stylist said, "You should take out your earphones.".
The blonde said, "That's not possible, I will die otherwise.".
The stylist thought, "Dumb *bleep*.", and takes off the earphones.
A few minutes later, the blonde dies on that chair, and the stylist thought, "How is that possible?", and put the earphones close to his ear.
The audio coming out of the earphones goes, "Breathe in...Breathe out...Breathe in...Breathe out...".

People didn't respond to that well at all. If I were there, I wouldn't have either.

I'm not as radical as some, but I don't even find those jokes funny.

People didn't find it funny either, but they said that a racist joke is a racist joke no matter how funny.

Eh, just to begin with, I've never expressed any hate towards LGBT, not even back there.
Because, why should I hate lesbians, bisexuals, homosexuals, transgenders, etc.?
It's their choice, their way of living, and I won't stop them in any form.

Next, being a Mexican is not a race, it's a nationality.
And just mentioning the nationality without any hateful context doesn't make me hate them.
Because, if only using the word "Mexican" is racist, then why weren't I banned when I said "American", "Dutch", "Polish", "Belgian", "Japanese", or any other nationality?

Finally, what's wrong with the second joke?
Not even the people there complained about that one, as far as I can remember...

Long story short: I'm no hater of anyone, I'm not a racist, it's just that I prefer realism over political correctness.

How is a joke about Mexicans being stupid "realism"?

I don't care about your pedantry, that "joke" basically characterized one group of people as degrading and homogeneous. And no one called you a racist, but your jokes as racist (when they really mean demeaning, but their point still stands).

That joke was insensitive and I find horrible since I have friends with Mexican heritage who would very insulted.

Second one's joke is all about an equally degrading stereotype and I also don't find that acceptable.

Stereotyping isn't about "realism" or "political correctness", it's just being mean and degrading to a group of people.

IMO I think you're taking this a bit too far. Those jokes weren't meant to be racist and don't look that racist to me. Jokes aren't supposed to be taken seriously and people shouldn't get offended by them and I think it's far from enough for a ban.

Nothing to say, so jadnjkfmnjamnfjkldnajfnjkanfjdksan jsdnvj m.

I wouldn't call Yami a racist or anything, but the arguments she uses to defend herself don't match the context and are far from the best. Why talk about 'being realist' when discussing a bad joke?

welcome to 2016, where a refrigerator would get offended if you called it a "freezer"

I wasn't saying the jokes are realistic (those wouldn't be jokes otherwise), I meant realism in general.
And I weren't talking about whole groups, the first joke was about 3 people, and the second joke was about 1 person (or 2, if you include everyone).

Not to mention that all these people mentioned were fictional.
Not saying that blondes or Mexicans don't exist, I mean, people mentioned in jokes are never actual people (they might include famous people sometimes, but I never make these jokes myself).

I know opinions differ per person, but don't take opinions as facts, while in this case, they're no facts.

Sorry, I skipped one sentence.
I never said, in any way, that Mexicans are stupid.
What's even the point of saying that?

TBH even if it was "racist", politically incorrect jokes are usually pretty decent. You're not necessarily racist if you find racist jokes funny. You're not necessarily sexist if you find sexist jokes funny.

No, not doing SM64DS hacking, just here for the waffles.

I don't want to backseat mod here, but I think it's better for all of us to move on, and leave 2012 behind us (yes, that's how old these jokes are, so why should we even bother discussing them?).

I've just realised that people tend to change, so how I was in 2012 is irrelevant in 2016, same for anyone else.
No matter the year, I only want to make friends, not enemies.
But how can I even become friends, when certain past events tend to get in the way?

I second this. This is turning awkward.

People hold grudges or some crap that's why they don't change.
