Is there gonna be a boss here? I was kinda disapointed when there was no boss in Grandmaster.

I don't think so...

The hack might have used most of SMG2's bosses by the time the player gets to this galaxy.

There probably can be if you really wanted to, a whole slew of them. Keep in mind that since MN1 can edit the BCSV table, we can duplicate bosses and make new versions, like how SMG used fiery versions, and we're using dark. I think the rest could have a dark version too that uses the concept of gravigen to make them "stronger"

This might be the place for a fight against Peewee Piranha and DinonPiranha at the sane time. This would be in Star 1. Star 1 could start out with the two dark bosses. When the player thinks it all over after the bosses' defeat, it will turn out to only be the beginning of the insanely hard mission.

Destroyed floating platforms woild lead to the white tunnel made of invisible walls. Dark mattr-covered planets from previous galaxies; maybe not. It could seem like how Gold Leaf was to Honeyhive. And with these asteroids coming closer together, saturn-like planets are at the beginning and as you go on, their asteroid rings collide, maybe even add some space junk platforms.


If it won't be used in EoTU, then the Saturn idea could work as a section in this galaxy.

I can imagine using the Fire Flower to extent where you literally have second left before it runs out. You collect the Fire Flower at a location far away from where you need to use it.

NWP said on the Foggy Bog Level Design thread that one block thick Smakeblocks could used as a challenge here.

Except that's not a challenge really. It's moreso about the platforming.

Well, the extensive platforming should require you to speedrun when you have the Fire Flower. You remember the metal-edged crates from Rightside-Down and Upside-Dizzy? One of those could be blocking a Warp Pipe. By speedrunning, you will arrive just in time to be able to butn it with the Fire Flower.

To be honest, I think we should not use the fire flower here. It should be a minimal use item, as it is a pain in the ass IMO. The Ice Flower could work. I am thinking we have small platforms of water that are not connected, and Mario must use the ice flower to jump over them. Then again, this concept could easily be used in Flarefrost. It could work here because this galaxy is supposed to be a culmination of everything Mario has done, and make it harder.

Oh, I thought you meant the Fire Flower should have a platforming section instead of a challenge. Ignore post >>22818. Using the metal-edged crates would be a challenge as you have to burn them out if your way snd avoid being crushed.

Either way, it is still the most tedious powerup next to the Bee Mushroom. I personally think we should use the boo mushroom more.

The only thing that would make the Boo Mushroom difficult is a 2D area filled with Octoboos. And that was already done in Boo Moon. I personally see the Boo Mushroom as a fun powerup because it gives you some easy accessability. The Rainbow Star could be interesting. It gives freedom yet at the same time, it also has restrictions. Just take a look at the Romp Comets.
