@lezg_g, much appreciated ! Still I'm kinda stuck on my actual procedure of importing elements into the game (slowly finding a way...) so don't bother yourself too much when the situation will be better you'll be more than credited for your work.

I'll prepare some midis for you to use when you discover how to insert music in SM64DS. I'm pretty sure VGMTrans is the program you have to use. I remember there was a limit of space, though.

Hello, I was always thinking about a Super Mario Galaxy DS in my mind and I thought about the spin thing from SMG. I can see in the video how good it is, but it has no spin. Of course I'm not saying it's bad or anything, it's actually amazingly good, but one problem I can see, is the dive thing in the air. How will you fix that?

By the way, there also is this spin thing when Luigi does a backflip (R+A while stationary) or when any character jumps on that flying enemy with his flower hat.

Sorry for the lack of good words in this post, I don't know what that spin and what that enemy his name is.

can you send me a rom with gold leaf imported into bobomb battlefield? I think I can fix the collision.

Hey, this hack is looking great so far! I love Mario Galaxy and I want to play the stages on a handheld. I could help test for R4 if your still looking for testers.

I'm just here to say I love all the effort that all of you are putting into this hack and I would help if I could but I don't have any experience in sm64DS hacking and I don't own an R4. BTW Great job so far!

I recieve way too much help than I deserve, I'm happily surprised & I feel bad not properly managing how to import my assets please don't waste your time maybe if someone can import my assets into the game without causing bugs that would help, it's my job to do the elements since I started this a month ago.
@EpicMario50 added you in the front page, will contact you if needed thanks but I assume I don't know how to convert modified rom to work on R4 yet
@SuperMario64DS pm me and tell me what you want to do (levels or props) but trust me don't waste your time
@StapleButter who's double posting ? If me I'm sorry tell me how to avoid that and where

AND ONE GOOD NEWS after a little while... I can avoid any holes in my models now which induce do better KCL files to not fall throught the map was kinda inconveniant you would say huh ? but now we're ok I can decimate how much I want (with a bit more rework after) Metasequoia is life, I love this software especially their new interface more "friendly".

Maybe you can fix the gravity by making the planet move instead of mario. What I mezn by this is that instead of Mario is walking forward, he is actually not moving at all. The planet where he is standing on will move.

And I can also be a R4 tester, but I don't really have a R4. I have a flash card named M3, or also known as G6. I'll update you later if I can or can't get it to work.

EDIT: I can't be a R4 tester sadly I don't think I have the right flash card. Thanks Hiccup for the information that my idea to fix the gravity issue wouldn't help anything :)

That doesn't actually fix the problem of it being difficult to code. The calculations are still complicated and implementing it would require large amounts of RE'ing and recoding.

Even if you could somehow manage to get that working, getting objects and enemies to stay where they are supposed to be would be very finicky.

If we could solve other ASM priority despite the fact of gravity being the core thing even though it was not a part of my rom hack in the first place, I just plan on doing a minimal and enjoyable exprience that would reminds smg players what we felt in 2006 but at the same time be a stand alone game somehow like if Nintendo released both. Although any extra in depth gameplay mechanics will be appreciate like Cloud Mario and such ! It is not a 100% accurate replica even if I aim for a decent side to side comparaison copy.

There shouldn't be too much problem since there's a fair amount of planet with normal gravity anyway (like honeyhive galaxy).

@poudink that's exacly my point and where I'm focusing since I'm not a programmer sorry about that also I would like to be one to do whatever I want with software.

What ASM stuff do you want done specifically? I said I would never associate with any SMGDS projects, but I'm growing bored of making Misc. ASM hacks that aren't used in any hacks. All I ask is a credit in return.
