Super Luigi 64 v1.0 (N64 Patch): http://www.mediafire.com/download/yd946gc87qf2mu7/Super+Luigi+64+%28N64+Patch%29.ppf
(This patch was made specifically for N64, it won't work correctly on emulator)


(Here's a quick tutorial on how to patch)

Download VL-Tone's ROM Extender: http://qubedstudios.rustedlogic.net/Mario64Tools.htm
Download PPF-O-Matic: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cd_dvd/iso_tools/ppf-o-matic.cfm
Download an unmodified 8mb Mario 64 ROM.

Open VL-Tone's ROM Extender and open the unmodified Mario 64, and wait for it to extend.

Now open PPF-O-Matic and select the extended Mario 64 ROM as the ISO File, and open the Super Luigi 64 v1.0.ppf as the Patch file, then click "Apply".

Now you're done!

(The same process applies for the "Super Luigi 64 v1.0(N64 Patch).ppf" patch file)

Also when you patch the rom like it's suppose to and extend it up to 64mb for use with the level importer, it kills the title screen. So you either have to replace it (which only got a black screen for me but didn't crash) or disable it. Can you create a patch that is compatiable with the level importer fully? (Everything else works fine once you get past the broken title screen)

Also can you release a version that doesn't have the modified voice acting? I want to replace the voice acting with modern luigi's voice acting but looking into it, it seems you modified the playback to play at a higher pitch and left the samples alone.

Patch this to your 64mb ROM, it fixes the title screen, along with reverting the voice back to its original pitch.

Title is still broken.

It keeps saying unable to detect microcode settings.

But that's with if I turn all the level importer patches on (the ones that you need to patch it with in order to get level importer support)

I get different results depending how far I go.

If I only extend it to 64mb and nothing else. The graphics plugin I am using will throw errors every frame but If I skip past all of them (which takes a while) the game will continue on like normal. (Edit: and by normal I mean NORMAL apparently i'm mario still.)

Attempting with a 24mb rom does the same.

Edit 2: Maybe add multiple patch versions for people?

Like model and HUD textures only for those who want to make a completely new SM64 adventure off of it.

Same as above but with the voice pitch edits for those who don't want to edit the voice.

Same as above but with the modified title for those who just want vanilla SM64 only with your luigi.

I have no clue as to why your title screen is crashing. Maybe do everything but the title on the rom size you usually use and then using the current level import. use that to import your title model and then make a patch of it?

Maybe, but everything seemed to work for me, I can't tell what the problem is.

Would a patch just having Luigi's model work?

you might want to make a .bps patch also. They seem more accurate than ppf patches
But.... Awesome MAN, GREAT!, I like that Luigy model a lot !

You'll know it's clean if it has [!] in the file name.
