I'm trying to reduce my wifi's ping, cuz I can't game with it being over 600 points.
I've heard of something you can do to accomplish this, but I can't figure it out. Internet speed has nothing to do with my lag it seems. My school has the same speed as me, but less ping, and I can play Smash 3DS at next to full speed. I need to acquire that state at home. Any help from splitwirez or somebody else with greater tech knowledge than me would be nice, as they likely would be able to identify my problem. Cuz I can't seem to. Also, I have a broadband connection. (i.e. a satellite) ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |

Probably due to your router. You could flash a custom firmware on it (DD-WRT), these generally tend to fix problems, but you'll lose your warranty.
EDIT: Or as some have pointed out on the IRC, the fact that you're using satellite, which brings very high latency. ____________________ |

Did you flash DD-WRT or something? What did you do specifically? ____________________ |

I didn't realize it, but my router was already flashed.
I just updated it and changed some settings. ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |
