I started on this concept a little while ago:
Basically a Windows 10 - Windows Codename Longhorn hybrid. I was hoping to get some feedback before proceeding with it. Your thoughts? |

Heh, those window borders remind me of old versions of GNOME 3. |

Posted by Nina Huh, that is a really weird coincidence - I took them from the Longhorn Jade style, and warped the caption buttons to Windows 10 size...(with really small glyphs, because I really like buttons with disproportionately tiny glyphs on them for some reason). ...was GNOME 3 around in the days of Pre-reset Longhorn? Makes me wonder if one was inspired by the other... |

Oh, whoops, I guess I found the right forum.
Ah, Windows 10... YOU RUINED THEMING FOREVER YOU --cutoff Anyway, I see you find interest into porting your old 8.1 theme into 10. Too bad the taskbar can't be skinned, with its XAML elements and all that. It'll take a work of a genus to figure that out. Until then, I'll come back to view the progress of your theme. Toodles! |

Posted by TickTockClock Actually, this is just a concept image. I'd just assumed the taskbar resources were stuffed into explorer ._. Also, Plex 8.1 is dead, as I'm no longer allowed to use the betas of Vista Style Builder with 8.x support on my host computer. I've instead turned to Windows 7, and a new VS, "Plexcellent", which can be found on my DeviantArt gallery, though it's still in development. (I'm known as "Rob55Rod" over there :Y ) So sorry to squish your enthusiasm, but (literal) parental controls + computer failure = meh. I might be able to proceed using a release candidate of 8.0 in a VM, but I've yet to find any ISOs :/ Posted by GreenThunder1337 Agreed ._. I'd be dying to get Windows 7 on my computer if there were compatible drivers >.< |
