I need HELP!!! This Debug Screen appears when I'm on the File Select screen... and I don't know WHY!!

Here's the Debug Screen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrUf_elPsaA&feature=youtu.be

If you know what could be causing this Debug Screen to appear, let me know! Please...

(This Debug Screen appears only when I try to select a file from the File Select Screen...)

As far as I know it has something to do with world maps. Also, there is a reason why this thread has been created.

It happened with me when the minigalaxy's BDL in the world map had the wrong name and the game couldn't find it.

That's wrong...You can use any model, but if it is too large, it crashes.

I think he meant that the model file was named incorrectly.

Well... is there a way to fix it? Because I NEVER edited the World Maps at all... I only edited the Galaxies themselves...

Oh really...It is darn easy to use. So easy that you don't need a tutorial.

...I never managed to figure out which file I CAN open using the World Map Editor.

It has happened to me two different times that it crashed on or before the File Select. Both was when I had a gravity on a random in a galaxy.

Really?

Well let me be honest, I think you should quit hacking mario galaxy. If you are not able to think and try stuff out, then you will get more problems in the future.

Unless you going to atleast try to open files. Just think real logical.

The WorldMap0(X).arc files. Like WorldMap01.arc for the World 1 map.

Regardless, though, if you haven't edited the world map directly, it's likely the error is something else.

He probably just didn't know they were there. Please don't be so cruel to someone who is showing genuine dedication and progress in his mini-hack. We all learn through mistakes, after all.

Not everybody has 'your level of intelligence'. Just because you can use it, does not mean anybody else can.
Also, too big models results in an infinite loop, so that's not the case.
And it only crashes the file select screen when the world map fails to load.

Yeah. I never edited the World Map, so I don't know WHERE the error is coming from... and I can't play-test my mini-hack until this crash is resolved...

Well... every time I try to open a WorldMap0(X).arc file with the World Map Editor, it just shows me nothing... It stays at a black screen and no text appears on the Editor itself... So, I stopped trying to use the World Map Editor...

As I said before, try deleting your edited SystemMessage and see if it loads.

If so, then you need to look through the SystemMessage and see if anything is misspelled or improperly formatted.
