Last view: 998 days ago 		I'm currently working on a new hack (My first hack, actually), Super Luigi 64.

Idea
You're all probably familiar with the popular Luigi model made by VL-Tone, which isn't bad, but I felt like there could be a Luigi model to look like how he did back in the N64 era, a good example of how Luigi looked in the N64 era is his design in Mario Party, Mario Kart, and Mario Tennis/Golf.

I heavily based his model off Mario Tennis, as you can see below:

Though not everything was based off the Mario Tennis model, Luigi's colors and textures we're based of Mario Party and Kart. Interestingly enough, I ripped a texture from Mario Kart 64 which shows Luigi's emblem:

Which of course was used for the model I made.

His eye colors were also based off Mario Party. In Mario Party, compared to Mario's eye color, Luigi's eye color is more of a sky blue color.

His eyebrows were also edited to look more like Luigi and that innocent look he has.

Credits
Thanks to Flotonic for providing a program that converts vertex data to a polygon file format, which can be edited through a program like Blender, and import what's been changed back into the game's data.

And I would also like to give thanks to Vertrex, AnkleD, Quasmok, and Dudaw for alot of suggestions, they really helped fix how Luigi looks.

So, what do you guys think so far? If you have any suggestions on fixing how he looks, please tell me, opinions are well appreciated!

Last view: 2077 days ago 		If you're going for the N64 charm, I'd go for that high pitched voice that Luigi had in his early days. Use the Japanese voice, or just increase the pitch of Mario's standard voice clips.

The first two Smash Bros. games blatantly re-used Mario's voice clips with a higher pitch for Luigi.

Last view: 2987 days ago 		Wow, I love the way this hack is looking. I would suggest to replace luigi's voice with voice samples from SM64DS. I realise it's not from the N64 era however I feel it would be appropriate given that Mario's voice was mostly unaltered in the DS version. They are also pretty easy to extract from the ds rom.

Looking foward to further progress. Loving the attention to detail, quality, and thought going into what Luigi would have really been like in this formula.

I think the reason the one in multiplayer looked worse is because it is a beta model from super mario 64
