Something I've been working on for a while now...

We're almost ready for Beta 2, I'll try to keep you folks posted on that.
If anyone's even listening anymore, that is.

Have you ever seen Windows Longhorn's early development? Wish your Windows 7 or 8.1 OS looked that nice? Do you long for Longhorn? Well I'm here to give you just that ^-^

Now with support for the "Tidebar" sidebar I've been working on!

Any thoughts? Positive or negative, I want to hear it either way.

I'd just download it for that glorious pun you made.

What, about longing for Longhorn? Also, why do you say you would download it? Not willing to take the risk? Or just not running Windows 8.1? (it isn't worth it, and there already are Plex themes for older OSes)

Also...does that mean the theme itself doesn't impress?

I longed for Longhorn in 2009. Sorry man. My theming days are over. I stick with the default stuff and it works just fine for me.

Darn. Well, maybe someone else will still want it...

I created this account only to congratulate you on the theme.
Not going to lie, the Classic Shell theme is a no.
But hey, why not try Windows Style Builder?

Thanks again! :D

Uh...thanks?
I know, the arrows have stupid white boxes, IDK how to fix that, because ResourceHacker only supports BMP images.
I'm not going to pay for software meant for an OS I don't have, when I have freeware that supports seemingly any Windows OS. (I hate Wndows 8.1, but I'm stuck with it)
Np...?

That was confusing...was there some sarcasm there? If so, I missed it, because I'm terrible at picking up on sarcasm.

Whoops. It's paid software? I only recommended it because xXiNightXx uses it:

Anyway, your theme looks awesome on my desktop!

I hoped I showed you my appreciation. :)
(I used LongBar before, but it crashed. Now, I'm using Desktop Sidebar.)

Glad you like it :3
The white boxes around the arrows in the Start menu can be removed, by turning off the "large icons" option.
I think I'm going to look for some decent freeware for doing this stuff sometime. I know BMP images can have transparency, but IDK how. If I ever manage to fix that, I'll release an update, so check back from time to time!

Wow, if my stuff is drawing people to register here, I need to post this on the other boards I'm on!

Ehehe...I would absolutely have already done that, except that I don't have access to the needed files from Windows 7, nor a computer to test it on. However, that may change in the future. Until then, sorry about that :/

*wimpers to self about inability to make themes for decent operating systems*

@Splitwirez!
Didja see what @juniper7 did to your Start Menu Skin over at Classic Shell (or at least the idea of having one)?
It literally made me cry.

Er...I saw that...but the only common feature is that both are based on Plex...

...also, I was planning a huge update to this visual style, but then my computer broke, and when I got it back after it was fixed, I was told to not use visual styles, so now it's only for Windows 7, which I have running in a Virtual Machine :P

EDIT: Did you see my "Start Menu History" skinpack over on the Classic Shell forum? It's gonna include an updated Plex Start Menu of my own :D

Hey, Splitwirez, is it too much to ask when you will be updating your cool Longhorn theme to Windows 10?
Thanks again. :)

Answered over on the 10nghorn thread.

Also, it's going to be a while before I upgrade to Windows 10...

Updated because it now looks 99x better than before. Any thoughts you have about the style are ones I want to hear, whether positive or negative ^-^

I figured I'd tell you that your image in the first post is 404ing

(also, if you could shrink that signature, it'd be cool)

It works fine for me, oddly. Anywaves, just replaced with an imgur mirror. Does it work now?

(Really? It's smaller than the other one you said was okay...but sure, will do.)
