Posted by Lunarius Yes, cheap. Norton, for example, is € 59.99 a year, and it makes your PC slow as shit. And all you just listed, have nothing to do, with Anti-Malware, lol. |

Thanks Yami! I used MalwareBytes and the destroying ads are gone now!
But not all kind of ads... Words become in caps and have a link that lead you to an ad. It's also another kind of ad that isn't gone, it's when you sometimes click on normally things a new window come with an ad. It's also still slow. Does anyone know if I should delete those "GoSave" and "YoutubeAdblocker" folders or are they useful? |

Posted by Rainbow Mario I made a quick Google search for them, and results stated that they are malicious programs. So, go ahead and delete them. |

No, because it would be pain when it's so slow and full of ads. |

Posted by Rainbow Mario Did you look at the Browser Plugins you have? I know, that Skype Installs one, that turns Phone Numbers into clickable Skype thingies, so there might be a similar one, there. |

In which directory is the Plugins in? (It's not fun to look around everywhere in C:, so it's better to get a direct answer.) |

Put this, into your URL Bar: chrome://plugins/ |

Browser malware/hijackers/virus? Yea that's happened to me multiple times as well
Only advice I can give is to delete every single virus/hijacker file on your PC and if you didn't get them all install adwcleaner or something.... ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. Posted by Rainbow Mario Everything seems legit, so it's not the Plugins, I guess. |

The only thing in there that I can think of is either something is not what it says it is or there is some security hole in Java. |

I don't know what it is.
Also, same happens with Firefox, so then it might not have so much to do with Chrome. |

Anyway, now I actually deleted the things that Malwarebytes detected and now my Google Chrome and Firefox works beautifully.
I never thought this would happen. Thank you SO much Yami! I have to give you a present. |

Posted by StapleButter I didn't know it neither, in the first place, but when I Google'd it up, it seems like it's an official Plugin, from Google, apparently. Posted by Rainbow Mario Wait wait, you didn't Delete ALL the Malware, in the first place?! |

No first I scanned and then when I looked at it after a while it had already closed. So I thought it already had deleted the bad files. But then I did it again to be sure and now it's good! |

Sorry to bump.
---------------------------- This is to all users who have infected browsers: Install Malwarebytes and clean your PC. Then if you want to make it more cleaner, use Adwcleaner and clean your PC again (to remove other stuff), do the scan and quarantine the junk and remove the "Adwcleaner" folder in C:\, where all the junk have moved, then delete it from the trash too, to get rid of all junk. The web infections will be fixed. If that isn't enough, delete/trash/remove the extensions "Champion Deals" and other unknown extensions, if you're using Chrome. I don't know how to remove it if you're using other web browsers. But you can read here how to do it if you're using other browsers: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/champion-deals-removal/. Champion Deals is an adware program, that displays pop-up ads and advertisements on web pages that you visit. These advertisements will be shown as boxes containing various coupons that are available, as underlined keywords, pop-up ads or advertising banners[1]. There is also a similar one named "ClickForSale" that has to be deleted if you have it (see here). I think there is more, but I only know them right now. And a little tip: if you see any unknown programs, make a Google search of them first, and if it shows to be bad, then uninstall it and delete all stuff from it if there are anything left in Program Files, Program Files (x86) and, ProgramData (which is hidden) and AppData (which is hidden too). You can also sort the programs after installationdate in the Control Panel to see the newest programs/scripts that have come to your computer. Some programs can come from the web browsers and without an installation. I learned today that using Malwarebytes wasn't enough to remove all the internet ads, and you have to trash the extensions too. |
