Good thing, too. Originality is always a good thing, I don't want half-hearted ports from rival systems. Why do it when you can just play them already for cheaper? I want to see new sequels on Wii U, which is why I'm kinda surprised that the Battlefield franchise is sticking to older systems. Maybe they also anticipate the failure of the eighth console generation.

Last view: 660 days ago 		Wii U is supposed to be eighth generation too. Battlefield 4 will be on xbox and ps3 because not everyone is going to make the transition to the new consoles yet. Since DICE and EA want to make as much money as possible, they will develop the game for as many platforms at possible. Weird that now Wii U. Maybe because Wii U owners would not buy the game, and developing the game would cost more than what they sell on the system.
Battlefield 4 will have a new engine, Frostbite 3, which will provide better graphics and gameplay. The old systems will be very limited in the respect of graphics AND gameplay. Probably, since the maps are so big in Battlefield, they will make the smaller for the older consoles to not use so much memory. The new consoles, on the other hand, they will have 8GB of memory, which is more than enough for maps and players.
In 2011, Battlefield 3 was released, but the PC version was kinda limited since the consoles were pulling it back. Well, CEO of DICE said that the old consoles will not pull back the game, the graphics and gameplay will be awesome on PC and the recommended settings will match Crysis 3 maybe. I hope not since the only game I cannot max is Crysis 3 :P

ANNOUNCEMENT: I am happy to report that sometime in the near future I will be rejoining SMG2.5! I've seen how much progress has been made, (FnarGod is amazing. :D) and most of my stuff in school has been cleared up (making the honor roll). I'm going to practice level creating for a bit just to get in the groove. Expect great things soon! ;)

Interesting system overhaul. I don't think it'll work that well in the long run TBH...

But does this mean we can have custom name colors and stuff now?
