Hi Lemmy R4 Player! Nice to meet you!

I do have to warn you though, I wouldn't recommend posting literally everywhere, nor on 5 year old threads. The moderators might get mad about it...

you ain't a mod.

bumping threads is okay if you're bringing new material to the thread. we still advise paying attention to the date of the last post when posting in a thread, tho.

I'm sure all the people that posted in a 7-year-old thread will be coming back 7 years later to see new posts

Hey, why not check out my website while you're here?

Fall's supposed to begin but here, it still feels like summer. I think fall doesn't actually start until later November.

I know! We're into October over here in the eastern-US and it kinda still feels like summer!

I can see the beach bar I work at staying open into November if this keeps up.

Wait, how is that beach bar open? Is social distancing being applied there?

I have a curved monitor. I like it. It's also very big too so working details on my projects is a bit easier.

If current yearly weather patterns continue and COVID get under control, I can see them being open into Novemeber in the coming years.

They social distance and use masks and ordering food and drinks are contactless.

I imagine getting vaccinated will be mandatory in places once a cure is properly developed, which is still a while off.

I don't have experience with them, but ultrawide monitors are really fun to use. They're just so... wide. It's fun to use.

Also immerses me in games a lot more which is fun

i think i've done the hot take before with little consequence. do they want to risk losing activity from the kuribo64's most active poster?

big res monitors are not only immersive, they help with my art projects since I have more space to plop down reference images and not compromise too much the resolutions of the programs I'm working with. I had qualms that the curved monitors interfere with the ability to draw straight, but you just get used to seeing the lines straight. I haven't drawn anything yet on a curved monitor, though.
