This project, which is now nearing completion, aims to make a NSMBDS hack that's a semi-sequel, sorta-port of Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, using assets and ideas from it, while keeping it somewhat fresh and taking advantage of mechanics in New Super Mario Bros. DS. Originally meant to just be a level and tileset hack, the game is now much more, ah, custom.




Features:



  1. All new levels, made in style of NSMBW (i.e longer and more expansive than those of NSMBDS),
  2. New or downported from Newer tilesets,
  3. An entirely new soundtrack, featuring various songs, including those from Newer Wii,
  4. New world themes, focusing most on the mini worlds from Newer Wii,
  5. Remodelled and retextured World Maps,
  6. Texture and model hacks on enemies and objects,
  7. Assembly patches and new code to fix things or introduce new mechanics.

Remember you had made a thread for CTT2 way before to make and release a demo. He can probably do the same anytime if he wishes to.
