And now, it's time to say yet another useful feature farewell: Break Lines.
I made a new Comment somewhere, with multiple lines of text, and YouTube merged my Comment to a single line (it does include Break Lines in Edit Mode, but once published, all Break Lines are gone again). I thought it was a mistake on my end, but I found out it happens everywhere, and I even noticed other Comments had the same problem. So, something that used to be:

Very annoying, especially when you make longer Comments, and try to make your Comment more readable! |

well, yeah. the Youtube coders felt that <textarea> wasn't cool anymore and that they had to invent their own Hipsterscript-powered textbox.

My sister is complaining about Youtube now.
She's trying to watch a video on mobile, but now she has to sit through video ads. Worse, the skip part doesn't show up and I believe she can't even view the video she wants to view, even after the ad is done. She tried reloading the page (which means sitting through the ad again) but all I heard were her groans of frustration and cursing Gootube. |

I once uploaded a random video, featuring a single pic and a somewhat crapo music. Once uploaded, I didn't even check the video (had other shit to do). I later received a comment. It said: 'Why is the video 8 seconds long?' 10/10, Youtube. I reuploaded it, worked alright this time. But still, what the heck. |

If the YouTube 3DS app wasn't bad enough, the update for it months ago to block Tubehax has the side effect of stopping any BT user from using the app.
BT force Nintendo products to use some of the parental controls, and since the update seems to try to connect to an external DNS server, it's impossible to use YT on an o3DS. Lesson: Don't use a cheap workaround to block exploits, fix your code properly, although Google have the hearing ability of a dead rat unless it's about personal data. |
