We don't know what the limit is, but there are two galaxies in SMG1 that have seven stars, so it's that or higher. The stars will start overlapping if you keep adding them, though.

Also, you don't have to add text if you're adding a green star.

EDIT: Just an FYI, if you move the pointer onto a regular star that doesn't have a name on the Star Select screen, the game will crash.

IIRC someone found remnants of 8-Star Galaxies (or atleast the possibility of them) in SMG1, so it may well be 8 or above.

Pointing causes problems when this point is reached, but conveniently SMG2 adds the ability to select stars with the Wii Remote's D-pad. I wonder if the D-pad could be used to select a Star that cannot be selected via the pointer...

Ok... The two-line Star Names aren't in the UsSpanish file I sent you before... because I didn't convert the file to ARC form (as stated earlier).

Here is the new file that actually DOES have two-line Star names: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B0pwLVSsqDpbbG4zTTZDZnlyODg

(There are a few missions with two-lined Star names, such as Peewee Piranha's Temper Tantrum and Rolling Crabber Romp. (Sky Station and Bowler Bowl Galaxy, respectively))

Also, I have a question. In the object database, it says that you can set the mission number of the Power Stars, Green Stars, and Grand Stars and that you can link the Power Star to the scenario file... What exactly does THAT mean?

...Well, I put Silver Stars in Rightside Down... and I added a Power Star and a Silver Star Controller for it... and I set the Power Star type as "hidden" but the Silver Stars DON'T appear in the Galaxy! And I *really* don't know fully how Silver Stars work (and the Object Database doesn't explain it either)... :(

Ummm... well, I placed the Silver Stars all over the Galaxy (because it's a hidden Star), so they're in lots of zones... Oops... :(

Alright, I tested the SMG1 ResultWindow, and...it crashes in SMG2. Probably because something to do with comet medals. That can probably be added in some manner, but IDK how.

No, because it's all the same layout file. I don't completely know my way around Layouts and the Wii Layout editor, so there may be a way to make it work, but IDK what that way is if there is one. Sorry.

I know why it didn't work. They're both similar, but inside ResultWindow > anim is the difference. The files in the anim folder in SMG1 are:

Appear.brlan
End.brlan
Flash.brlan
Line.brlan
Wait.brlan
and the files in SMG2's anim folder are:

Appear.brlan
BestTime.brlan
End.brlan
Flash.brlan
Line.brlan
Test00.brlan
Wait.brlan

The underlined files are the new ones in SMG2 that SMG1 doesn't have. So SMG2 has 2 files added into ResultWindow, and when replacing with it with SMG1's one that has 2 files MISSING, the game can't find BestTime.brlan and Test00.brlan and crash.
