Polari what do you know, do you have the filesystem for the japanese version? It's the same exact thing as we've been dealing with for days. I would think that would be as likely as anything else. ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

Wait, what? What does MiniRedBlueExGalaxy have to do with japanese if the filesystem is the same..? ____________________ a |

I just started the demo, and it's looking pretty good! I know that everything is just imported, but still. This is actually my first time using Homebrew (or Riivolution for that matter)! It was confusing at first, but by using a step-by-step guide I was able to get the hang of it. The only issues I really experienced was some minor lag at the start of the level and my Wii's disc tray kept flashing whenever I was playing the level. I would have played the game on a Wii U, but I went with a Wii to be on the safe side. I also had to start a new save file because I had already transferred all of my Wii save data to my Wii U. By the way, will my SD Card still have everything that it previously had on it? I apologize if this is a dumb question, I've just started to use Riivolution and Homebrew. |

Posted by GrapeEscape Your SD Card will be intact. And that planet was not imported from another game, we modeled it ourselves. The flashing light is just something that Riivo does when playing custom music. And I play SMG2.5 beta levels on my Wii U all the time, no real danger of bricking with something so simple. The Wii U's "Wii Mode" is literally just emulating a Wii, which means there's no difference (except I don't think all Homebrew exploits work.) ____________________ |AgentSplaturn| if someone uses an external hard disk to store porn on |AgentSplaturn| is it their sex drive? Either way, the demo works on a WiiU and a regular Wii. ____________________ a |

I'm still gonna stick with the Wii. If I'm not mistaken, doesn't Riivolution on the Wii U require a game with an exploit? |

Riivo on Wii U requires you to do a bunch of dumb stuff. But i'll have to do it eventually when I make levels again.

Yes, installing Homebrew on Wii U requires a game exploit, but it's no different than the way you'd do it on Wii before LetterBomb. ____________________ |AgentSplaturn| if someone uses an external hard disk to store porn on |AgentSplaturn| is it their sex drive? Unfortunately, I don't have any of the games that have exploits. So, I guess I'm stuck using Riivolution on the Wii until I get one of them. |

Posted by GrapeEscape Get Brawl. Than you can use Smash Stack. It's arguably the most reliable exploit. Not to mention that SSBB is a great game and you should get it anyway. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

Well, it's late summer. Almost September, actually. Are we going to miss our initial projection for that new trailer? Personally, I feel like releasing a new trailer every year should be a priority. To show that progress has been made, and that this whole project is still relevant. Besides, it can draw in a lot of newcomers. I most certainly wouldn't know that this project existed were it not for the trailer released one year ago. I'm not saying that we need a new demo, but a trailer is fairly necessary if we want more help and such. |

Posted by GrapeEscape This point has been brought up literally seven times now. We tried demos and trailers this summer. They didn't work for various reasons. Right now we're reorganising the way we handle things and getting stuff done for the actual project. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

I was thinking. I'm trying my best to re-create the Star World seen in the demo E3 Trailer of the original Super Mario Galaxy. So maybe we could include that too. Though it does depend on if the bosses are able to work on SMG2. (I mean Tarantox and MegaLeg). What do you guys think? ____________________ Remember, every user has to start out somewhere,- Every time I look back at my old posts, I cringe. |

It seems very doubtful, but I honestly don't know whether it would work or not. |

Posted by GrapeEscape They won't. We can't import bosses. But NWP does have an imported version of the Star World HomePlanet somewhere in his dropbox, I know that. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!
