- The launch star path. It is messed up, and makes the landing look awkward

Yerp, Agent didn't set it up right. NWP posted a pic on the irc, he didn't do it right either, and I didn't even see the test.

- The docks/plank thingies on the first planet only have collision on top

Always happens.

- The red...Thingies at the bottom of the main planet (The ones with holes) have no collision, it's possible to go through them by using clouds to reach it

Moar descriptive plz :3 Ah the rocket tails. Yeah, it's because of kcl size probably. Or NWP was just lazy.

- (No water, it's obvious)

There will be later.

- The planets are too close together, and having them all next to eachother in perfect order ruins the 'Galaxy' feel a bit.

True. (Maybe gravity can take over and you can land sideways a bit or something. >:3)

-When wall-jumping off the fence, the planet on top of it covers the view of the player

All teh camera issues will be fixed in the end.

- The comet medal is waaaay too easy to get, even for World 2.

The whole galaxy isn't even done. We just threw it on there for now.

- The fan needs to be a bit higher.

whai

- The piranha plants are floating above the ground a tiny bit, and need flowers around them

All Agent's fault. I told him to do that :>

Not for those planets. That would look awkward.

whai

It should be the tiniest bit above the ground, as right now it clips through, which means you can see all the way through the bottom of the fan AND through the planet itself.

Lolwat. I did do that, and you yourself gave me obj_arg values for each flower. One, the pink tulips, ended up really ugly around the Piranha Plant so I removed them, and the other didn't show up at all. Might want to stahp pointing fingers :>

If you're so smart then why not teach us since we're missing some part of the puzzle.

Hey fool, instead of assuming things why don't you consider why. I did that on purpose because if you're doing the level right you shouldn't be going down there in the first place. You have to purposely do that to go down there. It's a giant planet with a lot of space to move around.

As would ALSO be obvious

True, it has to be polished before we release it. As would be obvious, we have to have SOME level of quality.

The point was to be out of the way so that you have to go and get it, and the camera doesn't even let you know it's there. If you want to blaze through the level, fine, but you'll miss out.

It glitches through or something....? It wasn't very descriptive, I'd have to see for myself. Something about clipping and being able to see through it all.

How can I make a curve?
-The key is writing different coordinates in the same pointer. We have to write the coordinates of the first block in `pnt0` and `pnt1` of the first pointer and the coordinates of the second block in `pnt2` of the same pointer.

Or just check here.

Instead of 3ds max, use Whitehole and coins as the placeholder for the blocks.

Gah, we can't assume so much. A lot of players that play this hack will probably try to see what happens when they do xxx. THE URGE TO FIND GLITCHES IS TOO POWERFUL TO STOP. Plus, we want to make the hack as good as possible, without lolglitches everywhere.

Imagine if, in Newer, if you jumped high enough towards a wall, you fell through it and died.

So, I really appreciate the work you guys have been putting in here, but baking in the lighting has really diminished the quality of the visuals, I feel. The shadows that were in place with the old models:

Looks much nicer to me -- that said, most of these planets I still have on my computer in textured condition, and we could still import them. I think we're better off using the hand crafted textures instead of the baked ones, it really makes a difference IMO.

Is the texture under the cloud... transparent?

I'm surprised we have not thought about Flipswitches on moving platforms and stuff for Star 2. Merag said in late May in the other thread that Flipswitches are not activated with wall jumps. Flipswitches on moving objects have many neat platforming possibilities.

Expect a design for Star 2 by me to be done by the end of the year.
