7 - SM64 Credits music, IT'S SO GOOD ;~; It fits so perfectly. Even though I've never finished SM64, and have barely played it. I've seen several let's plays, and I own teh DS version, and 8 - Butter Building, I'm a sucker for Kirby ;~; 9 - Nemesis King Bowser - As amazing as Dream Drop Distance's piece sounds, it's just a mishmash of noise and gets terrible after a while. Battle 7 - Outset Island. Even though SM64 Credits is emotional, the Outset theme man, sounds so good, catchy, feels good inside.(Holy fuck, I am the only one to vote for Outset.)
Battle 8 - Butter Building. TBH, I think it just only sounds better than Shadow Man. Battle 9 - Nemesis King Bower. Just freaking epic. |

Anyways, on to the next set. hmm... Battle 10: Devil May Cry 4 - The Time Has Come |vs.| Dissidia 012 - The Messenger (I damn myself) Battle 11:Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Collective Conciousness |vs.| Kirby's Return to Dreamland - Grape Garden Battle 12: Paper Mario Sticker Star: Tower Power Pokey Theme |vs.| Super Metroid - Green Brinstar I will be honest, I used a random number generator for the list, why did it put 2 3 4 5 in the same set.. 
Anyways this outta be hard... for me at least. Devil May Cry 4, my reasoning is because I love the beat, it's hard and that little part that gives off the space like beat is pretty cool.. Sorry Dissidia.. I tried. 
Metal Gear Rising, I loved this song the moment I heard it, I have been meaning to buy this game too so having like this soundtrack I think that I could get into the game quite a bit. Also it's my submission.
Super Metroid, I am a big Metroid fan, and for 5 years I hacked Super Metroid. The only problem was I never finished any big projects.. In any case, I love the soundtrack, it is by far the best game from the Super Nintendo, and it's a classic that everyone should know.. if you don't pick this, you are completely dead to me. (haha, not really completely.. ) |

Battle 10 - Devil May Cry 4: The Time Has Come. Neither am I a fan of Dissidia or Devil May Cry, but this song's instrumental theme sounds so much better than its competitor's.
Battle 11 - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Sounds awesome and the Grape Garden sounds too soft and Kirby-calm-kiddy like. I usually prefer the more unique Kirby songs. Battle 12 - PMSS: Tower Power Pokey. I actually don't favor neither of these themes, but I don't wanna tie them. The PMSS theme sounds like a normal boss battle theme to me, and the Super Metroid theme just sounds like a normal Metroid level theme that could possibly be not that memorable. All in all though, the PMSS theme wins because I'd prefer to listen to that. |

10: The Time Has come: Both of the options aren't really my taste, but this one is slightly better. But meh. I don't really like VGM with vocals.
11: Wow, both of these songs are really good! But ehh... I'm gonna choose Grape Garden, just because I hate the vocals in Collective Consciousness
12: Pokey theme. I like this song more than Brinstar. Just because it sounds like a good desert theme and it fits well with any mario game, despite being Paper Mario Brinstar doesn't really catch my attention that well.____________________

1: Devil May Cry
No opinion on this one, I just think it's better than the other choice 2: Kirby's return to Dreamland - Grape Garden Sounds better 3: Tower Power Pokey PMSS was a really bad game, but one of the best things to come out of it was it's soundtrack, and this theme is the best one in the game in my opinion. EDIT: The Power Pokey battle is actually number 2, I think the best song in the game is Gooper Blooper Phase 4 |

1: Devil May Cry: Yeah, I didn't like the vocals from its competition. I'm not fond of either tbh. =P
2: KRtDL - Grape Garden: I'm a sucker for Kirby music and DAT PIANO. Beautiful. ;~; Collective Collection... eh. Sounds rather generic tbh. 3: PM:SS - Tower Power Pokey: Not many desert themes catch my attention, but this one stuck out. Green Brinstar... eh. 13: Dream Team boss battle
It's just so much better 14: Pokemon R/S/E Regi Battle When pokemon was in it's good days 15: This one is EXTREMELY tough, even though Quick Man is one of my choices, i'll have to go with The BIS battle, this is just a legendary song. EDIT: I change my vote, the BIS song does sound better ingame than stand alone. I'll go with Quick Man because it sounds good even when it's played standalone. |

13: Dream Team Boss Battle - There isn't much contest. Crumbling Castle is just pretty generic IMO, but the Dream Team Boss Battle is so full of good stuff that just makes you want to keep listening
14: RSE Regi Battle - Color of the Summer Sky isn't bad, but I LOVE THE REGI BATTLE TO DEATH! Not just cuz its one of my choices, it is because it is a kickass song. 15: Mega Man Quick Man - Man, (no pun intended) both of these songs are really damn good. But Quick Man barely has the edge just for being slightly more memorable. BIS is also good, but it sounds better Ingame rather than as a standalone song, compared to Quick Man. ____________________

13: Dream Team Boss Battle. It's a Mario RPG Boss Theme. I don't need further convincing (although I did listen to the other one too). 14: RSE Regi Battle. Because those f****** were so annoying to find, this theme really made it feel worth it. Also it's Gen III Pokemon (my favourite gen, although it's not the best one). 15: BIS Final Boss Battle. You can't compare this to Quick Man. You'd have to be the biggest Mega Man fanboy ever ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. 13: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Boss Battle: Beats the other one by far. I love how epic it is because it sounds so goofy, but so serious at the same time. xD
14: R/S/E Regi Battle: The things you had to do to find these guys. Y U USE BRAILLE ON A GBA SCREEN GAMEFREAK.
Anyways, back to the song, it sounds very majestic to me. The other one isn't bad though. 15: Bowser's Inside Story - Final Battle: They were pretty close, but I prefer this one. 16: Another Dimension - both songs aren't bad, but this one is better for being more memorable rather than just riffs and SFX
17: Legendary Trio - just barely beats Terminal Velocity. I'm not a fan of DPPt's Soundtrack, but this song is one of the better ones. Terminal Velocity is less memorable. 18: Trouble in Town. Sorry, but orchestra just beats 8 bit. I love this song so much, and it is super memorable. ____________________

Rawk Hawk- This theme suits the fight perfectly,
Terminal Velocity- Great song for the last level in the game, whereas legendary trio just isn't that memorable for me. Trouble in Town- MG3 summed this up perfectly. |
