Star 1 - Silver Stars In The Sewers
Mario lands on a large open planet, about the size of Starshine Beach. Around him, there are many half-built buildings with scaffolds that Mario can climb. On top of the buildings, there are coins, starbits and 1ups for Mario to grab. On the ground there are construction materials like bricks and pipes. In one of the pipes Mario will find a life mushroom. In each of the four corners of the planet, there are four pipes, each leading to a differnet section of the under-construction sewer system.

Pipe 1 - In this pipe Mario will find many large pipes (like the one from Supermassive) being swung into place. He must use his jumping skills to traverse the pipes, and at the end he will find a silver star. In the pipes, Mario will find items and enemies such as Buzzy Beetles, Goombas and Hammer Bros.

Pipe 2 - This pipe will take Mario to a Tall Trunk-like slide on the half- built sewer system. He must avoid gaps in the pipes and debris scattered along the floor in order to reach the end of the slide, where he finds another silver star.

Pipe 3 - In this pipe, Mario will find Yoshi. Once he is on Yoshi, he can use a dash pepper to dash across the dirty water, whilst avoiding Buzzy Beetles and Paragoombas. If Mario stays in the water for too long, it will damge him. MArio can avoid this by eating the dash peppers scattered along the surface of the water. When Mario reaches the end, he gets a silver star.

Pipe 4 - This pipe will lead to a 2D area where Mario will find a maze of pipes. However, the pipes are blocked up with dirt, and Mario must use a spin-drill to enter them. Inside the Maze are Buzzy Beetles, Goombas, Hammer Bros etc. If Mario can navigate the maze, he will find a silver star.

Boss Fight - After emerging from the pipe maze, a cutscene will play of a launch star appearing on top of a tall skyscraper at the centre of the planet. Mario should climb the tower, avoiding Hammer Bros and other enemies on the way. When he reaches the top, he will launch up to the standard Digga Leg planet, but with a little twist: it's hollow! After grabbing a spin-drill, Mario will fight Digga Leg and, when Digga Leg is defeated he will recieve the fifth and final silver star.

Star 2 coming soon.

Looks decent, but it needs a lot more detail and some art.

Not really, I like how it's up to interpretation. Then the artist can create it all however they envision it which still having guidelines that are good. Hell, I might make art, I think it's really good. This gave me a lot of ideas.

I really can't draw, so I'll leave it to you.

Also, can we texture hack the Hammer Bros to wear hard hats?

It's always possible to dupe them and make Wrench Bros or something, but that's for a later time, when it's approved and modeled and we've started creating it

As far as I know, Digga Leg is being used in Burrow Base. hm.

Also hm, I'm assuming that there will be a pipe at the end of each section to take the player back to the main area? And how will Digga-Leg having a Silver Star work?

What I envisioned after reading that is having a hub with life growing, which would be cool to see life thriving in the poisonous sewers, so yeah, I'm thinking it'll all have a hub. I'd have to draw it to explain it better. I also think I have an idea for the boss, but I'll figure that out in a while once I get home and can spit it all out on paper.

Polari - Yes, there will be a pipe at the end of each section to take the player back to the main area. And couldn't we just make Digga-Leg spawn a silver star instead of a power star?

Well, the little glass cage under him holds a Power Star, not a silver star, and gah. We'll think about the boss later. To be honest, this doesn't even need a boss, but whatever.

Wow for a first design this is very good! (At least I think this is your first design?)

I think we can reuse Digga-Leg as long as the planet is a different setup from the one in Burrow Base. And of course the design says it is, assuming we're using the normal planet in BB.

The only thing you don't understand is that it's underground, sure there can be as big rooms as you want, but they're /rooms/. Digga Leg with any sort of planet, which is how he is designed, would be out of place and derp.

My idea was having a giant tree in the middle of the hub, and changing the idea slightly to have you slowly unpoison the sewers, instead of the super overused and loved silver stars, and once that's done, some roots retract from an entrance in the hollow tree, and you fall down into a boss fight room, where the boss has been hiding and preventing you from accessing him. The only problem is /WHAT BOSS/

My suggestion might be one of the arena bosses or bugaboom, retextured to look poisonous or something, and having rhe miniboss mandibug stack in there as well while you get rid of the poison.

It's like cockroaches c:

That works too. Lol if its bugaboom the mission would be to decontaminate nature just so you could go kill an animal :P

Sounds good, but I think Bugaboom's in Buzzing By.

That's why we do what I suggested by duplicating him and having the second one be a retexture to look poisonous so it's different. Problem solved. I still need to sort some stuff out and then I can start the art (rhyme intended)

Sounds like a good enough filler galaxy. It's not brilliant, but it'll do.
About the design. The Silver Stars are pointless since they're at the end of the linear parts instead of forcing the player to explore for them, but it's nice. I didn't think of the sewer slide o.o
I like the idea of a sprawling sewer system. :P

IMO, this isn't an important galaxy, so tbh the mandibug miniboss should suffice. Definitely should pimp the arena out a bit with hazards to make it less of a curb-stomp battle over in 5 seconds though. Perhaps Spiky Piranha Plants.

Wait...if could duplicate bosses...hmmm...probably not a good idea tho :P

Why is this any less important of a galaxy than any other? 9 galaxies out of 49 are more important. And most don't even need a boss(Astral Stronghold), have one especially for it(Bowser/Jr galaxies), or will reuse it(SMG). Don't hate because it ain't.

And I already handled the silver star issue, so don't bring it back up >.< And it isn't necessarily linear either. It's 5 areas that can have multiple places to explore in each one. It's great and it's getting better with each idea/revision.

Instead of using the slide section in star 1, we could use a different area and keep the slide for star 2 (with purple coins). I suggest a dirty underwater section in the sewers that Mario must swim through.
And skylugi it is the one before Gravigen Extractor.

What the fuck are you saying? Gravigen Extractor is the last galaxy in the world, the Bowser galaxy. It's only listed like that because it was switched with Flarefrost in W5, which caused this to get moved to the end of the list.
