What is there to say? The definitive hack for Mario Kart Wii made by MrBean35000vr and Chadderz. Anyone who's recently looked at the "Favorite Mario Kart" thread in Gaming knows that I love this unconditionally.

For those who don't know what this is:

CTGP Revolution contains:

* 184 custom tracks, divided into custom cups

* An online mode for playing custom tracks, called "Custom Tracks Worldwide"

* A MKDD-style speedometer

* Blue Shell dragging

------SOON TO BE COMING IN v1.03 UPDATE------

* Even more custom tracks!

* Switch characters between Wi-Fi races

* Custom lap counter, for custom tracks up to 7 laps!

Anyone else have this hack? If so, post your FC! (I'll post mine soon, I lost my CTGP SD card and am getting a new one for the update.)

I like the idea of having custom tracks, but they look really generic and not nearly Nintendo quality to me. I do like the idea of bringing back old tracks, though.

Yeah, a lot of them aren't Nintendo quality. But they're all fun to play, with the exception of Desert Mushroom Ruins. Tracks have to undergo a standards test before being added to the CTGP.

Oh yeah, this thing.

I never knew it had so many tracks o.o But meh, I never really used it since this kind of thing is boring without other people, and the only person that I ever raced with was MM720 >_>

Also meh, Iwont be able to use it for a while, until I get a new USB.

What are you guys' favorite ctgp courses?

CTGP Revolution is the Best. Thing. EVER! Can't wait for the next update!

I also agree that many CT Tracks are really generic and weird, but the retro tracks are often really well remade and make downloading it all worth it. There are also some creative and fun completely Custom tracks. You also keep everything that was in the original game (but the Battle Mode becomes messed up) so there's no reason to not get CTGP Revolution if you have MKW and know how to download it.

However I do have a weird problem. When I first got CTGP (The latest patch), I didn't have one of the Karts on my Original MKW game, but recently I unlocked it (not on CTGP, but on my orginal game). However when I then open CTGP Revolution the Kart doesn't appear. Do I have to redownload CTGP or unlock that Kart AGAIN but on CTGP this time? :)

IDK really, but you can try unlocking it again. I unlocked everything in the game with no problems after I downloaded CTGP.

Can you post your FC please? :3

Yeah, I like that one too. It's really painful waiting for the next update, though.

Fishdom Island is awesome.

I also really like Punch City. That stage really gave the feeling you were in a modern city close to the sea.

Oh and I also like Digitally Enchanted. I know it's just a bunch of random s*** thrown together but I like how the course
s road is made of speed panels so the race is always really fast. The course itself is horrible, but still fun to play :3

Oh and I hate how a few courses have bugs which make all the CPU players into unbeatable monsters. No matter what CPU level I put them on, the CPU's vehicles always go at Max Speed and are literally IMPOSSIBLE to catch up (they drive faster than a BULLET BILL!). I wish those kind of stages would be fixed, since as they are now there's no reason to play them :(

Well yeah. I only play tracks with AlParam CPU speed (the loops, for example) on WiFi.

EDIT: Yeah, reinstalled. It's also a good idea to get the Music Pack I use. It really works well. I'll write down my FC and post it soon.

My FAVORITE custom track ever which should be added to CTGP, is Halogen Highway! It's in the CTT pack and should be put in the next CTGP update NOW.

If I had a good modeler buddy, I could actually have the capability to make an awesome track.

But I don't have a buddy.

Leaving someone else to do the dirty work I see?

Nah, I had a partner who wanted to make some 3DS track, but he kind of disappeared. Sucks.

Just breaking the news the anyone who might be waiting:

Release date is delayed, again. The Channel is a bit buggy at the moment, not sure how far the set back is. Not sure if there are plans to release tomorrow via Riivolution or wait for the CTGP Channel to be completed.

From my experience, the Channel is lovely, but just not finished yet.
