I'm modding Super Mario Galaxy 2 and I'm wondering how to make falling Icicles like the ones in Super Mario Odyssey's Snow Kingdom. (Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEi-jvOeznM)

I have no Idea...but I am making my first SMG mod. It involves Starman fortress. I am hopping to start today.

I can give you it when I am done with the fortress.

Make an object with the definition SwitchingMoveBlock.
This object will move when activated by a Switch of some sort.
The direction the object moves in is determined in its Obj_Args,
Obj-Arg0-2 are for the XYZ displacement respectively.
ObjArg3-5 are for rotation.
Once activated they can be reactivated by activating the same switch again.

As long as the object's collision can do damage to Mario, this would work, though its not the best possible method.

This has nothing to do with the topic?

Is there a way so they can't get activated after they drop?
