Editing AW files is possible. You can extract it and see the waves and replace them with your owns and repack. |

Don't you have to convert them or something? I doubt Nintendo packs .wav files. ____________________ Remember, every user has to start out somewhere,- Every time I look back at my old posts, I cringe. |

Posted by Rainbow Mario Okay, if they can be repacked, that's news to me. WHERE CAN I FIND THAT TOOL!?!?! Posted by PaperplateismGuy They don't. But users care about what a program does, not how it goes about doing it. That's why GalaxyHacker said that. |

AWs is a pack with WAV files. I downloaded Aurum's galaxy hacking tools and the AW extractor was in the category "Extracting & Packing". I could extract an AW though, but I didn't try to repack it. I think one of the tools there could repack it, but I'm not sure.
If it don't work to repack, then nevermind. I just say that MrRean would update the thread a bit. |

Posted by Rainbow Mario Oh. Well I found those tools a while back, posted them on here, then Aurum took it from there. They can't repack AWs. AWs do not contain WAV sounds. They contain another format which is auromatically converted to WAV by the tool. I habe no idea what format the sounds are in prior to conversion, but it's probably something Nintendo created. |

Why is it the wrong way to import a planet with ProductMapObjDataTable? ProductMapObjDataTable is better in my opnion. You can choose if the object will be a normal object, a background, a moving platform, a rotating platform, a breakable object and more. It's also easier to add to ProductMapObjDataTable than PlanetMapDataTable. PlanetMapDataTable is indeed looking more simple than ProductMapObjDataTable now. And who said ProductMapObjDataTable doesn't support animations? It does. I have tested it myself.
Also, I don't understand it works when you replace many galaxies with the same galaxy (Flip-Swap). How does ut work when you have multiple RedBlueExGalaxy folders on your SD Card? |

You don't replace a galaxy, you port the galaxy's files over to another, to change it's world or something of the sorts. ____________________ a |

There aren't multiple files for it.
You don't make a duplicate RedBlue file, you simply take the JMP folders and put them into another folder under ANOTHER name. ____________________ a |

So you put the JMP folders in other galaxies' Map files? Like replacing Sky Station with Flip-Swap, putting Flip-Swap's JMP in Sky Station's Map file? |

Umm... I just want to ask one thing quicly because I haven't found answer yet... So how do you combine the .msbt files back to .arc file after you've extracted them with ArcExtractor and edited them? I'm just trying to change my mission title from /MessageData/SystemMessage.arc/ScenarioName.msbt .... Sorry if this post is in horribly wrong place... ____________________ Oh well... I'll just go defeat Mario and drink milk.... |
