So, like I mentioned in my previous question thread, I'm new to hacking SMG2 so I apologise if I should nooby at this.

I looked everywhere on the forums for a good Hour or so, and I came up short. I couldn't figure out how to rename Galaxy's or the Mission Names (when selecting the star). I know it is possible and I am probably just missing it but I really don't know.

Can someone help me out, or point me in the right direction so I can learn how to do it? And any possible programs needed for doing it? Thanks.

Also sorry about me posting multiple of these help threads, and if they seem spammy. I don't mind if they are discared into the Trash forum afterwards.

EDIT: I figured it out. Nevermind this post.

This would be less 'spammy' if you listed what steps you used for others to learn from.

He is a new SMG hacker and it is good with new SMG hackers. Try to help them instead ;). JACOBSMILE go to LocalizeData > UsEnglish (or UsFrench, UsSpanish or whatever it is) > MessageData. Extract SystemMessage.arc and you will see a file called "ScenarioName.msbt". Open it in Nuntius Novus and then you can edit the names.

Did you miss the part where he said "EDIT: I figured it out. Nevermind this post"? If he still needed help, I would have gladly provided it.

Oh, I'm very sorry. Sorry Spliwirez. I will try to make a better look next time.

It's fine. Not that big of a deal, anyways. You don't need to apologize, just...learn from your mistakes.

Ok. New question. Not bothering making a new thread for help but, I am using Extermination Switches to causes Sling Stars to appear. I already have one set up and functioning properly, but the weird thing is, I've set up a second one the exact same way and it does something weird. Immediately when spawning in on the level, it makes the "Launch/Sling Star Appear Noise" and it appears immediately. Killing the Monsters does nothing and the Sling Star is already there, even though a Extermination Switch is properly setup. Is it because it is in the same Zone? Is there a way to fix it/Add a new Zone in Flip-swap? Or am I just stuck?

Double-check that all the objects involved are set up correctly, and that no values are used for both switches (unless they both require the same group of enemies to be killed, in which case the second one is unneeded, as multiple oblects can share the same SW_APPEAR)

Your switches are wrong. Mostly because the trigger doesn't even go off when you start the level.

The exterminatioswitch uses the SW_A while the launch star uses the SW_APPEAR.

I figured it out. 2 times I just typed random numbers for the lines, it didn't work. The third time it worked.

I had same problem with some Hammer bros. I give them the Generator ID something, then give the Extermination Switch's Object ID the same, then I give the Extermination Switch's SW_A the same SW_APPEAR as the Launch star. When I tested it the Lauch star was already there without I needed to kill the Hammer bros. The Boomerang bros. in The Perfect Run uses an Extermination Switch. This Extermination Switch had many settings. SW_APPEAR, SW_A, View Group ID and such things. The Boomerang bros. had weird settings too. Why?

You mean the obj_arg0? That's just the delay.
